About
Rayburn Lodge was built by an auto baron in the 1920's to serve as a vacation home in the woods of northern lower Michigan. In the 1990's, Rayburn was sold, moved to its current location and converted to a bed and breakfast. The current owners purchased Rayburn in 2013 and have significantly upgraded the property.
Today, the Lodge is an idyllic Northern Michigan inland get-away. Located on the "Holy Waters" of the fabled Au Sable River, Rayburn Lodge is one-of-a-kind property, perfect for large groups—outdoor enthusiasts, family reunions and team camps. Rayburn is just 15 minutes outside of Grayling, one of Michigan's gateways to the outdoors, offering access to fly fishing, lake fishing, canoeing, hunting, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and more!
Main Lodge

The Main Lodge includes the original fireplace, a massive structure built from field stones, and a large dining room that can accommodate dozens of guests. Other amenities includes a gas grill, pool table and darts, a screened-in porch and large fire pit.
All bedrooms are on the second floor. The master suite includes a full bath and king bed. Adjacent to the master suite, two sets of two bedrooms are furnished with 8 beds total (7 twin beds and 1 bunk bed). Each bedroom set shares one bathroom (3 full baths total on the second floor). The main floor includes a variety of sleeper sofas.
Guide's cabin

The Guide's Cabin is a small private cabin near the Main Lodge. The cabin includes a small living room, a full bed, a twin bed, and a kitchen.

The Main Cabin and Guide's Cabin cannot be rented separately. Given the size of Rayburn Lodge, the property is best suited for large fishing groups, family reunions, team camps, and other large groups.
